This is a bit of a crazy idea when you might hear it at first, but it's totally one that works: It's about taking a female friend shopping with you.
Often when we're going out with a girl and we want to go out on a date, we end up setting up this real big hyped-up kind of pressured situation in some fancy restaurant with a girl that we barely know who doesn't know whether she's going to like us or not or whether we're going to click. It's just awkward and uncomfortable for everybody, and I recommend that you stop doing that.
Instead, start getting comfortable hanging out with women in comfortable environments where everyone is used to hanging out. And the number 1 environment that everyone is used to hanging out is the supermarket.
Now, you might not be comfortable going to the supermarket with a girl, but this is why it's a great idea to do because the girl's going to be comfortable just in the supermarket shopping. Like, everybody does that. Everybody knows what that's like and everybody feels pretty comfortable there.
So I recommend that you start using any opportunity that you have to find yourself going shopping in a supermarket with your female friends or with women that you meet. Say you're inviting a friend around to your place for dinner: rather than going shopping first, getting all the ingredients and then cooking up some kind of storm and leaving her feeling like "Oh, is he expecting some payback for all this attention?", when the girl shows up at your place, jump in the car and say, "Hey, we're going to go to the shops and get the stuff for dinner."
Go grab some food, shop with her, go back to your place, then cook up a storm with her and you'll find that everybody is a whole lot more relaxed than when you put on some silver service dinner with some unsuspecting girl who's wondering what the hell's going on here.
So that's pretty simple. This week, grab a female friend, go out to a cafe, go shopping with her afterwards, line it up somehow so that you end up down the supermarket just grabbing some stuff and, yeah, you'll find that you end up feeling very comfortable in that kind of environment and it's a great way to get to know other people.
