How to Make Money by Linking To Articles on ConfidentMan.net

I get a lot of feedback from men (and women sometimes) saying that they really appreciate the helpful free articles on ConfidentMan.net. By linking to these articles from your own blog or website you can help share them with other men; and here’s another incentive for linking to the site: you can earn money in the form of affiliate commissions whenever a visitor you refer buys a copy of the Confident Man ebook.

So here’s how to create links to these articles that can earn you money:

Firstly, you need an account with ClickBank. It’s free to sign up as an affiliate by clicking here and selecting Promote Products and Sign Up. You don’t need to be a vendor, just an affiliate. If you’re already a ClickBank vendor or affiliate, you can skip this step.

Next, you need to know which article on the site you’d like to link to. Any article you like will do. Perhaps you’re writing a piece on your website related to something I’ve said, or you want to comment on one of my articles on your blog, or you just want to place a link to an article you really like in your sidebar.

So let’s say you want to link to the article on How to Recover From a Controlling Mother. If you just link to the article as https://confidentman.net/masculinity/recover-controlling-mother you won’t get any commission because that’s not an affiliate link.

In order to create an affiliate link that lands on this article, you need to know it’s shortlink. You can find this out by visiting the article in question and opening the View Page Source window by right-clicking on a blank area of the page and selecting View Page Source.

The page source will appear in HTML and may look like hieroglyphics. Don’t worry; all you need to know is to look for a line that looks like:

… rel=’shortlink’ href=’https://confidentman.net/?p=480‘ …

If you have trouble, use Find (CTRL-F) to search for ?p= since the information you need is that number after the ?p= which identifies the target article.

Now, you create a ClickBank affiliate hoplink by clicking here and entering your ClickBank account nickname. Leave the Tracking ID field empty.

Your hoplink will look something like:

http://f9281bwb54cjbtbe6-d8n7dpap.hop.clickbank.net/

… which by default it will land on the Confident Man ebook sales page. In order to get it to land on the page for the article that you want to link to, you need to add the ?p=… parameter to the end of this hoplink. So you’ll end up with something like:

http://f9281bwb54cjbtbe6-d8n7dpap.hop.clickbank.net/?p=480

You can now use this link on Twitter, Facebook etc, and as the href field in links on your blog, website or in email. You’ll want to use sensible anchor text of course, like this:

Hey check out this great article on How to Recover From a Controlling Mother. I found it really helpful… etc etc.

You will now get a 75% commission on any sales of the Confident Man ebook by visitors who visit the article you recommend. Even if they don’t buy straight away but join the online confidence building course, you’ll still get your commission if they come back and buy the ebook within 60 days.
