Here is yet another confidence building tip fresh from my backyard. And today I want to talk to you about changing your appearance because if there's one thing that makes a big difference to our confidence it's making a big change in our appearance and then going out in the world and experiencing what happens when we do that and how other people respond to us.

So there are two events that I want to recommend that you get involved in which help raise money for charity and change your appearance at the same time which means you get to feel good about yourself for two reasons: firstly, you'll be helping other people; and, secondly, you'll be building your confidence.

So the two events in question, the first one is run by the Australian Leukemia Foundation and it's called The World's Greatest Shave. And this is an absolutely fantastic event because what you do is you commit to shaving your head and going bald. And then you go around and you get sponsors and people pay you money in order to shave your head and you get to experience the world from a different perspective, that is, the perspective of a bald guy, while also making some money for little sick kiddies who have leukemia, which is a really nasty disease.

So I highly recommend that you sign up for that. Even if you're not in Australia, you can still raise money and get the effect of shaving your head at the same time.

The second one is a more international event. It's kind of spread all around the world. Once again, it started in Australia but now all world-wide, and it's called Movember. And the idea of this one is during November each year you can grow a mustache, and when you do this you're raising money for research into prostate cancer, which is a massive killer of guys, and also into depression, which is also a massive health issue that affects a lot of men.

So I highly recommend that you get into these two events, The World's Greatest Shave and Movember, because you'll be raising money for a charity and also changing your appearance in a way which is going to increase your self-confidence when you step out into the world and just experience the world from a different place. Be a guy that has a mo' or has no hair. See what it does for you and let me know how it goes.
